Karen lives a transient life with her husband, Toru, traveling across the country performing at various theaters, her days defined by the rhythm of stage lights turning on and off. She meets Keisuke, a young man living next door. One evening, he invites her over after work. Inside his room, her eyes are drawn to the strip costumes on display—she feigns innocence, claiming, "My job is just dancing." The next day, unaware that Keisuke is in the audience, Karen performs in a black-and-white show, climaxing on stage. Witnessing the sensual performance of this beautiful young wife, Keisuke is deeply stirred and confused. But when he learns Karen is about to leave town, he rushes to the theater on the final day, determined to take part in her forbidden live peep show.
