The symptoms of this illness include respiratory distress, convulsions, and disorientation upon receiving injections from extremely thick blue-vein needles, sometimes causing her to lose consciousness while uttering incoherent words. No current treatment has been discovered, leaving Mana's body constantly in danger. The story portrays the fallen angel's efforts to protect her.
