After the death of her husband, the Kawakami household became a single-parent family. Their only son, unable to heal from the emotional trauma, began skipping school and grew increasingly dependent on his mother, Yuu. Yuu, cherishing her son as her last remaining family, devoted herself completely—emotionally and physically—to supporting him, as they both struggled to come to terms with the loss of the father. The story portrays the warm, intimate days shared between mother and son, bound by deep affection and growing closeness.
